New editorial team

Hello!

At the CYE conference in Slovenia this fall we elected a new editorial team for Beat the Wheat, consisting of Mirjam Eiswirth as Editor in Chief, Emilia Serlachius as Editor and Marvin Müller as graphic designer. We would like to thank the past Editorial Team for their work. As a thank you for their involvement, the CYE Youth Committee presented them with newly designed glutenfree-themed mugs – see the picture. We are very happy to continue the tradition of the CYE Bulletin and look forward to many interesting issues. Next up is a Christmas and winter themed issue. If any of you have an interesting personal story, recipe or travel guide related to the themes, please send it to editors.beat.the.wheat@gmail.com by the 20th of October. All contributions are appreciated! The text should be in English and include any some fitting pictures.

Networking young coeliacs

Welcome to the website of the Celiac Youth of Europe – CYE.

We are an umbrella organization connecting all official coeliac youth groups in Europe. This website gives you the opportunity to explore our projects – from the annual international summercamp to the online magazine “Beat the Wheat” – and to get in touch  with us.

The CYE consists of delegates from more than 20 European countries who meet once a year for two days to review the old and develop the new annual project. It is led by the Youth Committee, a group of three young celiacs who coordinate the work during the year.

During the CYE conference 2012 which took place in Helsinki we prepared the annual project for 2012-2013: the development of “Gluten-Free maps Europe”.
